Our Story

Al-Nour Barbershop was born from a simple belief: every man deserves to look and feel his best. Founded in 2018 by master barber Faisal Al-Nouri, our shop started as a two-chair studio in a quiet corner of Riyadh's Al Olaya district.

Faisal learned the art of barbering from his father, who ran a traditional حلاق (barbershop) in Buraidah for over 30 years. Growing up surrounded by the sound of scissors and the scent of oud-infused shaving cream, Faisal knew this was more than a trade — it was a craft worthy of reverence.

After training in Istanbul and London, Faisal returned to Saudi Arabia with a vision: to create a barbershop that honored traditional Arabian grooming while embracing modern techniques and styles. A place where a hot towel shave felt like a ceremony, and every haircut was a collaboration between barber and client.

Today, Al-Nour has grown to a team of six skilled barbers, each handpicked and trained in the Al-Nour method. We've served over 15,000 clients, and many of our earliest customers still visit us every two weeks — that's the kind of loyalty we're proud of.

The name "Al-Nour" (النور) means "The Light" in Arabic. We chose it because we believe a great grooming experience illuminates confidence. When you look good, you carry yourself differently. That's the light we want to bring to every client who walks through our door.
